The neighborhood
Everything worth doing is within a few blocks.
Somerset is small on purpose. The suite sits over Main Street, so breakfast, a haircut, and a nightcap are all on foot — and the river is close enough to hear the tubers on a hot Saturday.
Stillwater’s main street, the valley wineries, the bluff roads, and the Twin Cities if you want a city night.

When to come
Spring
The river runs high before the tubes go in, and the ridge roads west of town fill with apple blossom. Main Street stays busy, and the balcony is a good spot for coffee while the valley wakes up.
Summer
Tubers on the Apple River by noon, a show at the amphitheater by dark, and music turning up at Sportsman’s or Rendezvous on any given weekend. This is Somerset’s busy season, book weekends well ahead.
Fall
The valley turns. St. Croix County is prime hiking and biking territory this time of year, with bluff trails and back roads lit up in color, plus orchard visits and the St. Croix Valley wineries to round out a weekend.
Winter
The winters run long, but Sam’s Christmas Village lights up just down the road from Thanksgiving through New Year’s, and Main Street keeps its own pace of live music and gatherings through the season.

How does check-in work?
Self check-in from the afternoon with a door code sent the day before — a unique code is generated for your stay. Check-out mid-morning.
Where do we park?
Free off-street spaces behind the building, at the foot of your private stairs.
How many can it sleep?
Six: a king, a queen, and a sleeper sectional in the living room. Extra bedding is in the closet.
Is it quiet?
Yes — the whole floor is yours. We ask for quiet hours after 10:00pm out of respect for the neighbors, and no parties, please.
Stairs, pets, smoking?
One flight of exterior stairs to the door, no elevator. No smoking indoors. Ask us about pets before you book.

We store a single preference in your browser's local storage, under the key sn-embed-consent, recording whether you have agreed to load third-party content. Third-party services may set their own cookies once you choose to load them. That is why they remain blocked until you agree.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this means your information may be transferred outside your home jurisdiction, where data protection law differs from your own. Where such transfers occur, they are made on the basis of your consent or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, as applicable. Because the map and video are blocked until you agree, you can use this website in full without any transfer to Google or Vimeo taking place.
8. Data Retention
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted within twelve months.
Booking correspondence is retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law, then deleted.
Your third-party content preference remains on your device until you clear it.
9. Data Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and contains no database, login, or payment processing. Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and held in our email account, which is protected by a strong password and multi-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have not handled your information properly, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, or with the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom.
11. United States Privacy Rights
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, may exercise the rights described in Section 10 by emailing us at the address above. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those described in this notice.
12. Children's Privacy
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
